Services Provided: Provide audits of annual financial statements Budget preparation and review Assistance with preparation of Comprehensive Annual Financial Statements in accordance with GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting program. Assistance with converting internal cash basis financial records to modified accrual or accrual basis of accounting. Assistance with implementation of new GASB 34 financial reporting model Various consulting opportunities including utility rate review, banking contract review, TIF district analysis and other projects Williams & Company, P.C. was the first Iowa CPA firm to assist a governmental entity in converting their financial reporting model to GASB 34 format, and have assisted several entities in their conversion process.
