Our People - Sioux City DAVID D. RADKE, CPA, CGFM    David Radke is the President of William’s & Company, P.C. and the shareholder in charge of the firm’s Onawa, Iowa office. He joined the firm in 1981, and is responsible for financial reporting and tax consulting for all the Onawa office Health Care, governmental and non-profit community action agency clients. Dave provides auditing, tax preparation, compilation, review and consulting services, and does budget preparation and consulting services to City clients regarding various projects Dave is also in charge of all Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation for nursing homes and Home Health Care clients.   Dave is a 1980 graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with an Accounting major. Besides being a Certified Public Accountant, Dave also has the designation of CGFM, Certified Government Financial Manager.   Professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Iowa Health Care Association, Health Financial Management Association, Government Finance Association, and National Association of Governmental Auditors.    Dave is very active in his community, having served as Vice President for eight years on the Burgess Memorial Hospital Foundation Board. He was also the Monona County representative for the Job Training Partnership Act Board through Western Iowa Tech Community College, and was a Founding Board member and Vice President of the Onawa Community Foundation. Dave is currently Chairman of the Economic Development Committee. He is a past Vice President of the Onawa Chamber of Commerce, as well as past President and Secretary/Treasurer of this organization, past Chairman of the Enterprise Zone Board, and past Chairman for the Onawa Strategic Planning Committee.   DANAE D. WERTHMAN, CPA Danae is a Manager in the Sioux City, Iowa office of Williams & Company, P.C. She joined the firm in 2007 as a Manager after prior public accounting experience in Atlanta, Georgia where she had in depth experience with construction company clients and high net worth tax individuals, including professional athletes. Danae’s responsibilities include audits of governmental, non-profit and for-profit companies, tax planning, consultation with clients, and in charge of various audits, reviews and compilations. Danae also has experience with the health care industry gained while working with Blue Cross Blue Shield over two years.    Danae graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.   Professional affiliations include the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Danae is currently licensed in both Georgia and Iowa.
