Our People - Spencer LAWRENCE S. HARDEN, CPA, CVA   Larry Harden is the shareholder in charge of the firm’s Spencer, Iowa location. He joined the firm in 1976, and after a brief two-year period at another public accounting firm, he rejoined Williams & Company in 1982. He became a shareholder in 1985. Larry started up the Spencer location in November 1987, and has served as its shareholder in charge since that time.   Larry is a 1976 graduate of the University of South Dakota, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He obtained his CVA designation in 1996. He was one of the first 20 Certified Valuation Analysts in the State of Iowa. He provides auditing, accounting and consulting services to all types of clientele, and has extensive experience providing litigation consulting and business valuations.   Professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Larry’s community involvement has included serving on the Board of Directors for the Spencer Family YMCA, Arts on Grand, Spencer Industries Foundation, Sacred Heart Financial Council, and the Iowa Great Lakes Corridor of Opportunity. He is an Ambassador for the Spencer Chamber of Commerce, and also a member of the Hy Noon Kiwanis, and has served on the Board of Directors of both organizations. In 1994, Larry received the Spencer Chamber’s Jack Wedel Award for community service. EBONY RAHE, CPA Ebony is a Manager in the Spencer, Iowa office of Williams & Company, P.C. She joined the firm in January 2002, was promoted to Senior Accountant in January 2004, and promoted to Manager in January 2007. Ebony’s current responsibilities include income tax preparation, auditing and accounting services to a wide variety of clientele, QuickBooks accounting systems assistance, and Management advisory services to small businesses. Ebony is also a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Ebony is a graduate of University of Northern Iowa, earning her Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Accounting and Finance. Ebony earned her CPA certification in November 2003.   Professional affiliations include American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society for Certified Public Accountants.   Norman K. Pixler, CPA Norman is an active CPA in Iowa and previously worked with the Iowa Department of Revenue. Norman earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Buena Vista University and received the DMAC Outstanding Alumnus award in 1977. Norman is active in the Clay County Community Foundation, Moose Lodge, VFW, and Fostoria City Council.  Professional affiliations include Amierican Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society for Certified Public Accountants.   Roger Schulke, CPA Roger is a Manager in the Spencer, Iowa office of Williams & Company P.C.  Roger has experience as an Iowa State Bank Examiner and Credit Analyst at Vectra Bank in Colorado. Roger is an active CPA in Iowa and is currently an Adjunct Faculty member at Buena Vista University. Roger is active with the Spencer Daybreakers Kiwanis Club, the Clay County Compensation Board, and is the School Improvement Advisory Committee Chair.  Professional affiliations include Amierican Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society for Certified Public Accountants.
