Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland Bike Give Away

On June 4, 2010, Williams & Company PC held their annual "Game Day" which is a team building exercise for the entire staff.  Williams & Company PC teamed up with Team Building USA to bring 9 area children brand new bicycles.  These children were chosen by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland.  All of these children are participants in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, known as "Littles".  Each "Little" was teamed with a group of staff members from Williams & Company PC, to work together to build their very own bicycle.

Each bicycle was scattered throughout each team, and the teams had to work together to obtain each of their missing parts.  Trading of parts was allowed, only through silent meetings - no one was allowed to talk at the meeting, so each team had to learn to communicate in an alternate fashion.  There were also important pieces, such as tools, that had to be "earned" through challenges that included various trivia questions and problem solving skills.

Williams & Company PC is thankful to have been able to participate in this kind of team building event which allowed the staff the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life.
